My favourite series is “Over the garden Wall”. I saw it during the time of student mobilization, because I had enough free time. I’m not a fan of series, I prefer watching movies, but this time my boyfriend suggested I see this serie, so we saw it together, and I love it.
The series is about two brothers (Wirt and Greg) who become lost in a strange forest called the Unknown. In order to find their way home, they must travel across the forest, apparently magic, with the help of Beatrice, a bluebird, and traverse a great many locations of this enchanted world in order to get home, but there are all sorts of horrifying creatures who populate the wood, and will stop at nothing to ensure the kids never make it back. Wirt, the older brother, is typical worry child, who fears everything unknown. Greg, the younger brother, is a child who is anxious for adventure, and he see everything as a game and being carefree. This adventure has many challenges to face them.
I like this series because although it is for children, it is designed for make adults think, giving a strong feeling of a world worth getting lost in, with an surreal and mildly scary ambient. I recommended it completely!
